Test Lead

Job Summary

As a Test Automation Tech Lead, Lead will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. Tech lead will lead a team of automation engineers, drive best practices, and ensure seamless integration of testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Technical Leadership

• Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Define and enforce coding standards, modular scripting, and data-driven testing strategies.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Evaluate and onboard new tools (e.g., Playwright, TestNG, Cucumber) to enhance automation capabilities.
  

Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, conducting code reviews and performance evaluations.
• Allocate resources effectively across projects and manage workload balancing.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  

Test Strategy & Execution

• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to define test strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee creation and execution of automated test cases for functional, regression, and smoke testing.
• Ensure test coverage across web, API, and backend layers.
• Track and report defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
  

Process Optimization

• Promote Automation as a Service (AaaS) across business units.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation processes and framework efficiency.
• Maintain reusable test libraries and data sets for cross-project use.
