About the Role:

Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute

  test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  for manual and automated testing.
• Conduct

  functional, integration, regression, performance, and system testing

  .
• Identify, document, and track

  defects and inconsistencies

  using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with the

  development team

  to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure test coverage.
• Develop and maintain

  automated test frameworks

  and scripts using tools like

  Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit

  .
• Validate

  API testing

  using tools such as

  Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI

  .
• Perform

  data validation and database testing

  using SQL queries.
• Participate in

  Agile/Scrum development cycles

  , providing input on testing scope and timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2–6+ years

  of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
• Strong understanding of

  software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC

  .
• Experience in

  manual and automated testing

  for web, mobile, or API-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with

  test automation tools

  (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Familiarity with

  API testing tools

  (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Knowledge of

  bug tracking and test management tools

  (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  for backend data validation.
• Excellent

  analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
