Test Engineer

Test Engineer / Test Automation

Key responsibilities:

1. Embedded Testing ( Firmware and Hardware).

2. Python Automation.

• Experience in

  Product functional testing and Embedded product testing

• Create scripts for automated testing according to the relevant guidelines
• Execute manual and evaluate automated tests on simulators
• Support in defining scope and content of test campaigns (what to test, how - manual vs.

automated, required coverage Hardware/functional, where, )

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Development using Jenkins
• General electrical /electronic system experience (e.g., reading schematics)
• Qualify software implementation with tests on simulators (based on test designs and

requirements)

• Report test findings in the appropriate tools
• Investigation of defects reported by testing and rapid problem solving
• Ensure quality, stability, and operation of systems
• Collaborate with team colleagues locally and remotely and drive know-how exchange

Education:

• ME/M Tech. Or BE/B Tech. Electrical / Electronics & Telecommunication

Expertise:

• Professional experience industrial electronic and software environment
• Good understanding in electronics, testing and quality assurance of software-intensive

automation products

• Experience in installation and commissioning of electrical/electromechanical equipment,

performing electrical measurements

• Used to collaborate in an international, distributed environment with changing priorities.
• Preferably experienced with test automation environments

Knowledge, Skills and Languages:

• Understanding of hardware and software development technologies and practices, different test

methods, agile processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, QC, schematic tools).

• Self-directed and self-organized, highly responsible and reliable team player, good analytic skills,

quick learner, open minded for new technologies and a generator of innovative ideas

• Elevator system knowledge preferable
• Fluent in English
