Test Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• A highly skilled and hands-on QA Lead with strong experience in test automation using Playwright or Cypress(good to have) or any other automation platform.
• Lead the QA strategy, planning, and execution across squads.
• Should be skilled to develop test plan, coverage and responsible for test case quality across the entire Squad and should be able to identify all test scenarios during the grooming phases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Perform hands-on testing (manual and automated) for web applications
• Complete understanding/experience in application Testing/QA process.
• Experience of working on multiple projects in more than one testing environment.
• Collaborates with product line stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands.
• Work with the development team to understand the technologies and develop / implement automated testing tools for root comparison and transformation.
• A deep, practical understanding of SDLC processes including Requirements, Design, Development, Build, Release Management, and Quality Assurance.
• Leading product release QA cycles, including creating and tracking to QA release plans, coordinating team resources & activities to efficiently & effectively deliver high release confidence based on deep, broad comprehensive test coverage.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement in working with broader team by measuring and reporting company Product Health metrics and other standard testing metrics as per company standards.
• An understanding and experience of test automation strategy, how to execute within a continuous delivery environment.
• Integration with reporting and results presentation tools.
• Good Communicator, Strong Team Player, Attentive to Details, meets deadlines and smartly manages time, Owns the workspace they are leading.

Required Skills:

• Having 5+ years of experience in software testing, 4+relevant in automation testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation or any other leading platforms.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
