Test Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Tester with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of applications developed within Country Intelligence, Site Intelligence, and ALLuminosity initiatives. This role involves manual and automated testing of web applications built on Node.js, Java Spring Boot, Python/PySpark, Azure SQL, Databricks with a focus on validating RESTful APIs and data pipelines, debugging issues, and collaborating closely with developers and business teams to deliver defect-free solutions.

Requirements

Test Planning

·       Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data to validate new features and integrations.

Functional & Regression Testing

·       Conduct manual and automated testing across multiple modules to ensure high-quality deliverables.

API Testing

·       Validate REST APIs for performance, reliability, and data accuracy using tools like Postman or Swagger

Database Validation

Azure SQL

Defect Tracking & Debugging

·       Identify, log, and track software defects in Jira or similar tools; collaborate with developers for root cause analysis.

Documentation

·       Maintain detailed test documentation, traceability matrices, and release validation reports.
