Senior Testing Engineer (Automation) Job brief We are looking for a Test Engineer with experience in testing high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. You will be responsible for testing webstack applications while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle. Roles And Responsibilities Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data. Carry out testing as per the defined procedures. Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures. Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out. Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures. Generate traceability matrices all the way from user stories or business requirements to automated testcases Technical Skills: Must have 5+ Years of experience in application testing and testing methodologies with primary focus in Automation testing. Test, build and configure test cases to meet business process and application requirements by Automation testing Proficiency in Java or Python or any other Object-Oriented Language. Understanding of the Testing/QA concepts i.e. test cases, defects, requirement traceability matrix. Good knowledge of Core Java with Rest-Assured / Rest API / Selenium WebDriver. Experience of WebServices, Microservices (RESTful, SOAP), Angular Web UI Testing Good knowledge in Backend Databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) Define, develop, maintain, report and execute manual / automation tests for basic, regression, load & performance related. Familiarity with various tools - JMeter, Selenium, Selenium Web driver, JIRA, Shell scripting(Unix), python Ability to design and develop test automation frameworks Experience working in an Agile environment Mandatory skills: Good coding skills. Excellent computer fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional testing skills. Provide good attention to details. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
