Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous anddetail-oriented Software Tester with experience in the Fin tech domain to joinour team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financialproducts, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring softwarequality. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executingtest plans and cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and security ofour financial software products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, execute, and maintaincomprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and designspecifications. - Perform various types of testing,including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams,including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understandrequirements and business use cases. - Identify, document, and track softwaredefects using established defect tracking tools. - Validate and verify defect fixes. - Participate in the design andimplementation of automated test scripts and frameworks. - Ensure compliance with industry standardsand regulatory requirements relevant to the Fin tech sector. - Provide clear and concise reports on testresults, quality metrics, and overall product health to stakeholders. - Continuously improve testing processes,tools, and techniques. Required Qualifications: -Bachelors degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience (5+ years) in softwaretesting within the Fin tech domain. - Strong understanding of financialproducts, services, and regulations. - Proficiency in using test management anddefect tracking tools (eg, JIRA, TestRail). - Experience with automated testing toolsand frameworks (eg, Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG, Lambda Test ). - Familiarity with programming languagessuch as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving,and debugging skills. - Strong verbal and written communicationskills. - Attention to detail and a commitment todelivering high-quality software. - Ability to work effectively in afast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in software testing (eg,ISTQB, CSTE). - Experience with Agile/Scrummethodologies. - Knowledge of security testing practicesand tools. - Experience with API testing tools (eg,Postman, SoapUI). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines andDevOps practices.
