Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Architect with a strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing test strategies for large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the test automation framework, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality engineering seamlessly into the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities 1. Test Strategy Architecture Design and implement a comprehensive test architecture that supports functional, automation, performance, and security testing. Define end-to-end test strategies for various software applications, ensuring integration across multiple platforms and environments. Establish standardized automation frameworks with scalable and maintainable best practices. 2. Test Automation Tooling Lead the development of scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks. Define test automation strategies for UI, API, Mobile, and Performance testing Evaluate and implement AI/ML-based testing tools to enhance test automation capabilities. Develop test data strategies to support automation needs and optimize test execution. 3. Performance, Security, and Reliability Testing Define performance testing strategies to identify bottlenecks and ensure system scalability. Collaborate with security teams to incorporate security testing in the SDLC using tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or SonarQube. Implement reliability testing for high-availability systems 4. Continuous Integration DevOps Integration Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, etc). Define and implement shift-left testing to identify defects early in the development cycle. Promote test environment virtualization and containerized test execution (Docker, Kubernetes). 5. Collaboration Leadership Provide technical leadership and mentorship to test engineers, SDETs, and QA teams. Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to define test requirements. Foster a quality-first mindset and drive adoption of best practices across teams. Required Skills Qualifications: Technical Skills: 10+ years of experience in software automation with at least 3+ years in a Test Architect role. Hands-on with test automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit Strong experience in API testing: Postman, RestAssured, Karate Deep understanding of performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner Expertise in security testing methodologies and tools: OWASP, SonarQube, Burp Suite Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C# for automation development Experience with containerized test execution using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and test automation integration in CI/CD pipelines. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to lead and mentor teams in a collaborative environment. Passion for continuous improvement and staying updated with emerging technologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI-driven test automation (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools). Hands-on experience with Cloud testing on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
