Territory Sales Manager (Telangana & AP)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Dealer Management: Foster growth with current dealers and identify opportunities for new dealer partnerships. Assess dealer performance and take action to phase out underperforming dealers. Sales Performance: Meet or exceed wholesale and retail sales targets within the territory. Prepare and present monthly and yearly sales forecasts for each dealership and the overall territory. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and provide predictions to aid in strategic planning. Contribute insights for monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales programs. Inventory Oversight: Ensure accuracy of dealer inventory and conduct physical inventories as needed. Budget Management: Manage sales budget and submit weekly expense reports and field trip reports to the Area Sales Manager. Demonstration Equipment: Oversee accounts related to demonstration equipment. Credit Collections: Assist with credit collections as required. Trade Shows: Participate in national and regional trade shows as needed. Reporting: Provide additional reports and data as requested by management. Preferred Industry Experience: Background in machinery manufacturing (e.g., dozers, excavators, backhoes, agricultural attachments). Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or BE/Diploma in Engineering or MBA in Marketing preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar industry (machinery manufacturing). 1-2 years of experience in database administration. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
