Job Description

The Candidate is responsible for overseeing sales operations, meeting targets and managing the sales team in the region. Candidates for this position must have strong customer service and communication skills, both written and oral. Able to handle the role independently.

  • Demonstrate effective use of selling skills (Presentation focus, features, advantages, benefits, productive questions, handling objections, bridging, closing,) to convince customers to prescribe/use Emergents products
  • Sell products in a consultative manner and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various product and application solutions the company offers
  • Manage and report expenses in an appropriate manner
  • Achieve assigned annual/ quarterly and monthly sales goals within company policy guidelines
  • Represent the company at regional and national professional conferences
  • Develop and enhance existing relationships with customers while working independently and maintaining your own schedule
  • Prepare expense reports, monthly reports and forecasting of relevant opportunities
  • Quickly follow up and qualify leads to determine opportunity status
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of manufacturing departments production and delivery schedules
  • Consistently meet project deadlines with CRM database management, forecast/sales reporting
  • Functions as a business person, aware of and responsible for providing input on the conditions that affect the business
  • Identifies and interprets customers requirements, shaping these requirements to fit the division’s capabilities and communicates these to customers
  • Utilizes divisional resources in the performance of all responsibilities
