Job Title : Territory manager Location : Madurai, Tamil Nadu Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets in the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities. Ensure effective in-store execution of promotional activities and product placements. Provide training and support to retailers and sales partners on product knowledge and selling techniques. Conduct regular market visits to assess performance, gather insights, and drive sales initiatives. Track and analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and take corrective actions. Work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and visibility. Manage accounts receivables and ensure timely collections. Prepare and present reports on sales performance, forecasts, and territory insights. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods, or related industries. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis. Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned territory. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
