Job Title: Terminal Engineer Location: Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Terminal Engineer to join our team in Thoothukudi. The Terminal Engineer will be responsible for Electrical Maintainance and can work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Operation and maintenance of Electrical Equipments. Conduct detailed analysis, simulations, and assessments of electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with codes and standards Proficiency to carryout maintenance and troubleshooting activities of various electrical equipment such as High voltage panels, 5MVA Transformer, High and medium voltage motors, High voltage alternators, High Voltage Capacitors, ACB & VCB of ABB Make Taking care of planned maintenance such as preventive, condition – based maintenance (CBM) and breakdown or corrective maintenance of Electrical equipment’s. Wiring all type of starters such as DOL, Star delta, RDOL, R-Star delta. Able to do hardware wirings and programming in soft starter and VFD Must be able to trouble shoot in High-voltage and medium voltage panel incomer wiring, Breaker closing and tripping circuit, synchronizing circuit and all the control circuits of Auto mains failure panel. Strict adherence to the Electrical safety in execution on any job. Knowledge of DG to DG & DG to EB synchronization & Concept of Alternators Coordination with TNEB/CEIG/TNPCB Knowledge on various TNEB tariffs Vendor Development and Electrical products awareness on market Basic knowledge on SAP PM module Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in terminal operations and maintenance, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industry Strong knowledge of terminal equipment, including pipelines, storage tanks, pumps, valves, and loading/unloading systems. Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to terminal operations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. C Licnse Mandatory Experience with SCADA systems is a plus. Knowledge of relevant safety certifications and training.
