Tendering Specialist

Education: Electrical engineer b.tech (EEE)

Tendering & Estimation

• Conduct tender launch meetings with stakeholders.
• Review and analyze RFQs, tender documents, SLDs, and BOQs.
• Prepare pre-bid and post-bid clarifications and technical queries.
• Perform cost estimation for LV, MV, and HV (up to 220kV) substation and MEP projects.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive techno-commercial proposals and bids.
• Evaluate CAPEX/OPEX for new and upgrade projects.
• Conduct bid/no-bid analysis and provide recommendations to management.
• Review contractual terms, identify risks, and propose mitigation measures.
• Present cost estimates, risks, and financial evaluations (cash flow) for management approval.

Project Planning & Execution

• Prepare project control budgets, method statements, ITPs, JSAs, S-curves, and manpower histograms.
• Design master project schedules and allocate resources.
• Monitor project progress and update clients regularly.
• Conduct site surveys to assess conditions and determine material requirements.
• Prepare project plans and obtain client approvals.
• Ensure timely project completion and adherence to deadlines.

Procurement & Coordination

• Float RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors; perform technical and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate with vendors and coordinate material procurement with the purchasing department.
• Participate in technical meetings and discussions with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Business Development & Client Relations

• Engage in business development for Substation EPC and EBOP projects (up to 220kV).
• Coordinate with clients for pre-bid clarifications, technical discussions, and project finalization.
• Attend site visits, tender kick-off meetings, and project handovers.
• Follow up with clients to finalize bids and secure projects.
