Job Description: Solar Tender Executive Company: Prime Energy India Location: Mumbai Job Summary: The Solar Tender Executive will manage the end-to-end tendering process for solar energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. This role involves identifying solar-specific opportunities, preparing competitive bids, and collaborating with technical and commercial teams to deliver accurate, timely submissions. Key Responsibilities: Tender Preparation & Submission: Identify and track solar/renewable energy tender opportunities (e.g., government, private sector, EPC projects). Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams to compile technical specifications, cost estimates, and compliance documents for solar bids. Prepare tailored tender documents, emphasizing solar project expertise, timelines, and value propositions. Ensure timely submission of bids via online portals or physical channels. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure adherence to solar industry regulations (e.g., MNRE guidelines, DISCOM requirements) and company policies. Maintain organized records of tenders, contracts, and post-submission communications. Standardize bid formatting (logos, templates) to align with client and solar sector expectations. Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify technical requirements (e.g., PV module specs, plant capacity, BoS components). Facilitate negotiations on terms such as warranties, payment schedules, and project timelines. Support contract finalization, ensuring alignment with solar project deliverables. Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze solar tender terms (e.g., tariffs, technical specs, eligibility criteria) to craft competitive bids. Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and policy changes in the solar/renewable energy sector. Generate post-tender reports, including win/loss analysis and recommendations for process improvement. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or related field. 24 years of experience in solar tendering, EPC bidding, or renewable energy project management. Familiarity with solar tender portals (e.g., CPP Portal, GeM, UPNEDA) and bid management tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SAP, and solar design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD). Knowledge of solar project components (inverters, modules, mounting structures) and regulatory frameworks. Skills: Expertise in solar bid preparation, cost estimation, and technical documentation. Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail for complex tender requirements. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced solar project environment. Attributes: Proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of the solar energy market. Team player with excellent communication skills to bridge technical and commercial teams. Resilient under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality, compliant bids.
