Key responsibilities of a teller cashier: Customer service: Greet customers, answer questions about accounts and banking services, and provide a positive experience. Transaction processing: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, wire transfers, loan payments, and other transactions. Account opening: Assist customers with opening new checking and savings accounts. Identity verification: Verify customer identities through proper documentation. Cash handling: Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift, balance cash drawers, and report discrepancies. Cross-selling: Promote additional banking products and services to customers based on their needs.
