Job Description

A Telecaller for College plays a crucial role in student recruitment, alumni relations, fundraising, and various other outreach efforts for the institution. They act as a direct communication link between the college and prospective students, parents, alumni, donors, and other stakeholders through phone calls.

Responsibilities:

Student Recruitment:

* Making outbound calls to prospective students who have inquired about the college or its programs.

* Providing detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, campus facilities, student life, and the overall college experience.

* Answering inbound calls from prospective students and parents, addressing their queries and concerns effectively.

* Following up with prospective students to encourage application completion and enrollment.

* Scheduling campus visits and providing information about admission events.

* Maintaining a database of prospective students and recording call outcomes accurately. Administrative Tasks:

* Maintaining accurate records of all calls and their outcomes.

* Preparing reports on call activities and progress towards targets.

* Collaborating with other departments, such as admissions, alumni affairs, and development.

* Adhering to college policies and procedures.

Requirements:

* Education: Typically a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some colleges may prefer candidates with an associate's or bachelor's degree.

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, concise, and professional speaking voice. Active listening skills are crucial.

* Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse individuals (prospective students, parents, alumni, donors).

* Knowledge of the College: A good understanding of the college's history, mission, academic programs, student life, and unique selling points is highly desirable.

* Persuasion and Influencing Skills: Ability to articulate the value proposition of the college and encourage desired actions (e.g., application, donation).

* Empathy and Patience: Ability to understand and address the concerns and questions of callers with patience and understanding.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

* Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for data entry and email communication.

* Telephone Etiquette: Professional and courteous phone manner.

* Language Proficiency: Fluency in the primary language of communication is required; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
