Job Description

A Telesales Executive is responsible for selling products or services over the phone, engaging with both potential and existing customers to understand their needs and drive sales. They build rapport, provide product information, handle objections, and ultimately aim to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining positive customer relationships. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the role:Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Calling:Making calls to potential customers to introduce products or services, generate interest, and qualify leads.
  • Inbound Handling:Managing incoming calls from customers with inquiries or seeking support, providing solutions and closing sales.
  • Needs Assessment:Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products or services based on those needs.
  • Sales Presentations:Clearly explaining product features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.
  • Objection Handling:Addressing customer concerns and overcoming objections to close sales.
  • Relationship Building:Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Sales Target Achievement:Meeting or exceeding monthly or quarterly sales targets.
  • Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up tasks.
  • Product Knowledge:Staying up-to-date on product features, benefits, and pricing to effectively sell.
  • Reporting:Providing feedback on customer interactions, market trends, and sales performance.
  • Upselling/Cross-selling:Identifying opportunities to sell additional or related products to existing customers.
