They offer advice and information about study destinations, universities, courses, and the application process over the phone, through online meetings, or through other communication channels. Here are the key job responsibilities of a Tele Counsellor in Oaks Overseas Education : 1. Providing Information & Guidance Answering student queries regarding studying abroad, including details about universities, courses, and admission procedures. Offering information on various countries, cities, and institutions that align with the students' academic goals, budgets, and preferences. Providing information on course eligibility requirements, entry exams, and visa processes. 2. Assessing Student Profiles Conducting initial assessments of the student's academic background, career goals, budget, and preferred study destination. Recommending suitable courses, universities, and countries based on the students qualifications and interests. Helping students understand their chances of admission based on their academic records and other criteria. 3. Application Process Assistance Assisting students with the university application process by explaining deadlines, procedures, and required documents. Providing advice on how to complete application forms, including personal statements or essays. Offering guidance on the selection of appropriate universities based on their academic profile and aspirations. 4. Guidance on Exams & Test Preparation Informing students about required standardized tests (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT) for specific courses or universities. Giving tips on how to prepare for these tests, including test dates, fees, and scoring requirements. Recommending preparatory courses or study materials for exams if needed. 5. Visa and Documentation Assistance Guiding students on how to apply for student visas, and explaining the visa application process for specific countries. Assisting students with preparing for visa interviews by providing helpful tips and answering questions about the visa process. 6. Providing Post-Application Support Helping students follow up on application statuses and communicating any updates from the universities.
