ob Summary

The Telecalling Executive is responsible for handling outbound calls, telesales activities, lead generation, and supporting the sales team in converting enquiries into confirmed solar customers. This role requires strong communication skills, sales ability, and the confidence to promote solar products over the phone.

Key Responsibilities1. Telesales & Sales Promotion (Primary)

  • Make outbound telesales calls to prospective customers to promote solar solutions.
  • Persuade customers to consider solar installations by explaining benefits and savings.
  • Convert interested customers into qualified leads and appointments.
  • Support in closing sales by following up with customers and addressing objections.
  • Achieve monthly targets for calls, leads, and tele-sales conversions.

2. Lead Generation & Follow-Up

  • Generate leads through calling databases, online enquiries, and follow-up lists.
  • Screen and qualify leads based on interest level, budget, and feasibility.
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups until the customer confirms the next step (site visit/quotation).

3. Customer Communication & Support

  • Handle incoming calls and provide information on solar pricing, installation process, and benefits.
  • Resolve basic customer queries quickly and professionally.
  • Build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships.

4. Appointment Scheduling

  • Fix appointments for Sales Engineers and field sales team.
  • Share customer details, needs, and expectations with the sales team.
  • Ensure customers are prepared for site survey visits.

5. Database Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update customer details in CRM/Excel sheets.
  • Record call status, lead quality, and follow-up notes.
  • Prepare daily and weekly telesales performance reports.

Skills Required

  • Strong telesales and telecalling ability.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence, convince, and close over the phone.
  • Good listening skills and customer handling capability.
  • Basic computer knowledge (CRM, Excel, WhatsApp).
  • Target-driven and self-motivated.

Qualifications

  • Plus Two / Diploma / Graduate in any field.
  • Experience in telesales, telemarketing, outbound calling, or customer care preferred.
