The ideal candidate will have expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and exposure to additional programming languages. This role demands proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of software architecture, performance engineering, integration patterns, networking, and security best practices.This is a remote-first role that requires close collaboration with our global development team. The Technical Lead will manage and guide multiple projects while fostering teamwork to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality solutions for customers. The ability to balance multiple projects and ability to go beyond for customer success, when necessary, is essential for success in this position.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple customer projects, ensuring high-quality and on-time outputs.Architect, design, and build scalable backend and frontend solutions using JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and relevant frameworks.Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with the global development team to ensure smooth project execution.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues swiftly to meet client needs, including those that arise outside regular working hours.Ensure applications align with performance, security, and networking standards.Mentor and coach development teams, promoting best practices in software architecture.Manage multiple projects effectively, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend tools that improve productivity and code quality.Required Skills & Experience:6+ years of professional software development experience.Strong expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript, with exposure to additional programming languages.Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Basic understanding of frontend frameworks like React, React Native, or Angular.Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, integration patterns, networking, and security principles.Proven ability to lead and collaborate with remote global teams to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.Customer-centric mindset with a willingness to go beyond when necessary.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional, multicultural teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.Prior experience working in a software development company or consulting environment.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Fully remote work with a flexible working environment.Opportunity to lead exciting and challenging projects with global clients.Professional growth opportunities and a collaborative work culture.Techwondoe is an equal opportunity employer.
