Technology Transfer Officer

The Officer Technology Transfer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day process monitoring, process validation, data collection, and documentation activities. The role includes working in shifts, observing manufacturing operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring smooth transfer of processes from R&D to plant scale.

Key Job Responsibilities (Core Responsibilities)

1. Understand the manufacturing processes and develop flow charts for equipment mapping.
   
2. Prepare protocols for monitoring processes at both R&D scale and plant scale.
   
3. Monitor process validation batches in shift operations and accurately record observed data.
   
4. Observe operations, identify criticalities, and report deviations or observations immediately.
   
5. Collect qualitative and quantitative process data, analyze variations, and correlate with historical data.
   
6. Update records and communicate significant findings to supervisors.
   
7. Prepare process validation documents including BMRs, protocols, and validation reports.
   
8. Perform basic chemical engineering calculations relevant to manufacturing and validation activities.
   
9. Understand existing processes and identify potential areas for process improvement.
   
10. Maintain proper documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines.
    
11. Follow safety standards and ensure compliance during all operational activities.
    
12. Assist technology transfer activities between R&D and manufacturing units as required.

• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering concepts
  
• Strong observation, documentation, and analytical skills
  

Prior Knowledge (Preferred but not mandatory):

• Exposure to manufacturing, chemical processes, or industrial operations
  
• Basic understanding of process equipment and safety practices
