Executive - Process Engineering (Technology Transfer) Level: Executive / Sr Executives Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical engineering Experience: In API/ Agro Chemicals/ Crop Protection Industry 3 years minimum to 6 years in Process Engineering role. Candidates working presently in R&D Centres are only eligible. Those working in Manufacturing Unit are not eligible. If you are part of Technology absorption / Technical Services at Factory site then you are not eligible. Working : Alternate Saturday off. Industry: API / Crop Sciences / Speciality Chemicals Mfg Role: Be part of Technology Transfer function for Process engineering Be part of the Scale up of process from R&D to the Large-scale plants. Take assigned project of molecule from the Initial stage to understand & optimize the process from scalability perspective. Provide engineering inputs with respect to unit operations involved in the process to facilitate seamless scale-up and transfer to plant. Observe critical process steps in the laboratory & evaluate related plant aspects. Ensure Process Safety compliance for all new processes from R & D Review and verify relevant process engineering calculations for scale-up of unit operations. Prepare / Review mapping, material and energy balance for the process. Prepare / Review basic engineering and technology package for the process Interact with the cross functional teams in plant for effective scale-up and technology transfer. Oversee execution of pilot, engineering, and validation batches for the product & ownership of the technology transfer process Review technology transfer report and ensure smooth handover of the process to plant technical team SKILLS: Hands-on with ASPEN HYSYS and other tools / softwares used in Process Engineering Simulation studies. Candidates working presently in R&D Centres are only eligible.
