Job Description

Job Overview: The Technology Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of Technology and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Technology problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Technology Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. Essential Qualifications and Education: 7 +Year of administration experience in spooling application like Hexagon Spoolgen, AVEVA Spooler, AVEVA Piping Fabricator or similar applcations Good understanding of piping shop fabrication work process Able to create Piping drawing sheet template according to business requirements Good understanding of Annotation Sheet, options file, line list, backing sheet Identify UDA requirement and able to configure Report configuration e.g. Cut List, MTO, Weld etc Spool sheet configuration User access control Interface with other SmartPlant and Non SmartPlant tools related to work packaging, material tracking, commissioning etc Knowledge on different development tools like Visual Studio, SQL, Git Repository etc Experience on Dabacon, MS-SQL Server, and Oracle databases Experience on Aveva Administration Knowledge on Aveva E3D Development Experience in using Aveva APIs in C# projects and Proficiency in .Net framework Good knowledge on E3D Piping Option Files creation for Piping Isometrics generation in Aveva E3D (Piping &Equipment), Aveva Pipe Fabricator, Spooler or Spoolgen Spooler and Piping Fabricator customization using PML, PML2 and external data transfer Experienced in developing and deploying applications in languages/technologies such as Aveva PML, PML2 C#, .Net Excel, APIs Report Customization of Piping data in E3D using PML and PML2 Hands on experience on Smart Sketch/ACAD SPC/SPF/SPx knowledge Understanding of Technical Support and Administration activities Experience in stakeholders engagement Excellent communication skills #LI-NS1 Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Strong understanding of fundamentals of industry best processes in managing EDW and similar applications Should be able to understand business requirements and provide expert advice on for EPC projects Developing and maintaining successful relationships with stakeholders and should be able to convince and persuade Work closely with multiple departments / units and demonstrate success in arriving at consensus Provide solution Architecture review, integration design of EDM with other Systems Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
