Technology Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the technical approach for application codebase split and environment separation, balancing efficiency, stability, and scalability.
• Review and manage updates to system configurations and integration endpoints impacted by the separation.
• Coordinate closely with developers and QA teams to validate functionality and ensure no regression of critical business processes.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues, decisions, and trade-offs related to the separation.
• Lead technical planning and execution during cutover and transition activities, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Document the updated architecture, integration design, and environment strategy for future state operations.
• Identify potential risks and issues throughout the separation and develop mitigation strategies.
  

Qualifications (Must Have)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end implementation lifecyle or application development projects, preferably in pricing or financial domains.
  

• Hands-on experience in overseeing and leading the designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
• Proven experience working with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems, including their architecture, customization, and integration within complex IT environments.
• Strong technical background in application architecture and environment management.
• Strong understanding of IT separation challenges, data segregation, application cloning, and independent environment setup.
• Experience with system integrations (APIs, middleware, endpoints) and configuration management.
• Proven track record in leading technical separation, migration, or large-scale transformation projects
• Ability to work hands-on with developers and QA to guide technical resolution and validate outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under tight timelines
• Effective communicator who can translate technical impacts into clear guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

Qualifications (Good To Have)

• A Master’s degree (e.g., MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA with IT specialization)
• Technical background in PROS Smart Price Management & Optimization solution
• Technical background in ProPricer Pricing and Cost Estimation solution
• Strong SQL expertise
