Technical Support Specialist in Email Security

As a Technical Support Specialist in Email Security, your role will involve providing customer support through calls, emails, and remote sessions to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. You will need to have knowledge of email systems, DNS, and mail client configuration. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing Cisco Ironport/Cisco ESA and Symantec Message Gateway to provide Email Threat Prevention. Your duties will include preventing unwanted emails using Adaptive Reputation, implementing Anti-Spam Policies for spam prevention, and using AntiMalware Policies to combat malware. Key Responsibilities: - Track and correct any information security deficiencies, weaknesses, or gaps identified by audits, reviews, and security control assessments. - Continuously monitor IT systems through vulnerability and compliance scanning. - Monitor infrastructure closely and compile information from various sources for analysis. - Demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, taking a proactive approach to self-training. - Ensure high availability as required. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of a Graduate or Post Graduate degree. - 2-6 years of experience in technical support, preferably in information security. - Certification in any Email Security related solution would be advantageous.
