Role Overview

Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain:
  
• Desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and IT peripherals
  
• Operating systems (Windows/Linux), drivers, and software applications
  
• Manage and support

  LAN/WAN

  , routers, switches, and Wi-Fi configurations.
• Provide support for

  Microsoft O365, email configuration, and backup solutions

  .
• Perform system upgrades, patch updates, antivirus monitoring, and security compliance.
  
• Respond to user tickets, diagnose issues, and provide timely resolution.
  
• Provide

  remote and on-site support

  depending on client requirements.
• Maintain service logs, asset/incident documentation, and SLA compliance.
  
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for warranty claims, AMC activities, and escalations.
  
• Support backup and recovery tools as per company or client processes.
  
• Assist in IT infrastructure setup for new users or project deployments.
  

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

Desktop / Laptop troubleshooting
Windows OS installation & configuration Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) Active Directory, domain join & policy understanding (preferred) Antivirus, firewall, and security system awareness Printer & peripheral support Remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP, etc.)
