Job Description Technical Sales Engineer Designation : Technical Sales Engineer Reporting to : Business Development Head Required Manpower : 1 No Minimum Educational Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech Electrical Relevant Experience : 5-7 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in Switchgear or Substation Industry would be added advantage. Location: South Region (Chennai) Key Accountabilities: 1. Responsible for sales and marketing of EHV Switchgear comprising of Instrument Transformers (CT/IVT/CVTs), Condenser Bushings, SF6 Circuit Breakers, Isolators, Lightning Arresters, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) etc. in defined territory including Industry customers/end users, contractors, EPC customers, Govt. customers, Utilities etc. 2. Meeting Sales, Order Input targets on monthly basis Regular visit to new and existing customers, consultants, end users on basis of Planned Journey Cycle (PJC). Responsible for sales promotion activities in the region. 3. Managing Key Accounts in the defined territory handling contractors & generating business through their channel. Meeting consultants/ customer for product approvals. 4. Discussion of enquiries/tenders/ pricing/ payment terms etc. on case to case basis. 5. Technical and Commercial discussions, Negotiations, order finalization with customers. 6. Order/indent punching into system for execution purpose. 7. Attending Kick off Meetings (KOM) with customer. Getting involved with customers for drawings approval. 8. Tender tracking & Tender filling & Submission of offers. 9. Familiarizing self with all products & services offered by CGPISL & keep updating. 10. Substation Project Status co-ordination with Customer & Project execution planning 11. Tracking projects & market trends in territory. 12. Work with clients to understand the needs & spec-in accordingly. 13. Tracking & ensuring Customer Receivables. 14. Submission of MIS on monthly basis. Skill Set Required: 1. Good Communication skills (verbal & Written), Presentation skills, 2. Self-Motivated 3. Outgoing & Go-getter. Ready for extensive traveling.
