The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in expanding our market presence for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation products and solutions. You will be the technical and commercial face of Kumari Engineering Enterprises for LK, engaging with clients across various industries, understanding their needs, and providing comprehensive, tailor-made solutions. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for Lauritz Knudsen products (e.g., LV switchgear, control gear, industrial automation components, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, etc.) within existing and new customer segments. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts. Technical Solutioning & Consultation: Conduct thorough customer needs analysis and provide expert pre-sales technical consultation for LK solutions. Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Collaborate with customers to design optimal electrical and automation solutions tailored to their specific applications and challenges. Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure orders and ensure customer satisfaction. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors, and channel partners. Act as the primary point of contact for all technical and commercial inquiries related to LK products. Market Intelligence: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments in the industrial electrical and automation space. Provide market feedback to the management team for strategic planning. Post-Sales Support & Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, service) to ensure seamless project execution, delivery, and post-sales support where required. Address any technical queries or issues that may arise post-sales. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering. Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in technical sales of industrial electrical, electronics, and automation products (e.g., PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, switchgear, control panels, sensors, industrial networking). Prior experience in selling Lauritz Knudsen (LK) products or similar brands (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, ABB, L&T, Eaton) is highly advantageous. Experience in panel building or systems integration is a plus. Technical Acumen: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of industrial automation concepts, control systems, electrical distribution, and motor control. Familiarity with PLC programming basics, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols. Ability to understand technical drawings and schematics. Sales & Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil is essential. Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customer profiles. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and target-driven. Proactive problem-solver with a strong customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
