Technical Sales Engineer-EV

Role Overview: As a Sales Engineer in the automobile industry, your role will involve identifying current and future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with the current and potential customer base. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering technical presentations to explain products or services to customers and prospective customers. Additionally, you will confer with customers and engineers to assess needs and determine requirements. Your role will also include preparing cost estimates, supporting sales executives in strategic deals, and modeling the finance business case associated with each sales opportunity. Key Responsibilities: - Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with the customer base - Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services - Confer with customers and engineers to assess needs and determine requirements - Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints and consulting with technical personnel - Support sales executives in planning and executing strategic deals - Match customer pain points/requirements to proposed solutions - Create and deliver technical presentations and demos to communicate the value proposition - Communicate client needs to the technical team for future product enhancements - Collect and document competitive intelligence Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Sales Engineer - Proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions - Ability to forge strong relationships with senior executives - Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner - Technical background preferred with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies - Good written, verbal, and presentation skills - Willingness to travel Please note that a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering is required for this role, and an MBA in Sales Marketing would be preferred.,
