Technical Sales - Coke Oven Battery

Role Overview: As a Technical Sales for Coke Oven Battery at SMS India Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in generating business for India and Asia Pacific markets. You will be responsible for closely monitoring the long- and short-term plans of customers, building strong relationships with them, and preparing price competitive solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing technical specifications, estimation sheets, and coordinating engineering activities for EA of steel plant projects. Key Responsibilities: - Generate business for India and Asia Pacific markets - Keep a close watch on long- and short-term plans of customers - Build strong relationships with customers - Prepare price competitive solutions for customers - Prepare technical specifications and scope division list - Preparation of estimation sheets - Generate business for OEM and Direct EA projects - Coordinate all engineering activities for EA of steel plant - Plan and control engineering milestones including creation of work packages - Manage interface between different disciplines - Report progress and ensure control - Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and guidelines within the project Qualifications Required: - University Degree in Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering - 10-15 years of work experience - Good knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFDs, Instrumentation, Electrical equipment - Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Excellent presentation skills - Good written and verbal communication skills - Domain knowledge on steel plant equipment viz BOF, EAF, Slab Caster etc. - Pronounced price and cost awareness - Ability to work independently and in a structured manner Additional Details: SMS India Pvt Ltd is a 100 percent subsidiary of SMS group Mnchengladbach, Germany, with headquarters in Gurugram and offices in Pune, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
