Technical Recruiter - India Hiring

About the Role

General Agents is building advanced AI systems for engineering, design, and product development. To support our growing India team, we’re looking for a Technical Recruiter who can lead hiring across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, simulation, CAD/CAE, and related domains. You’ll help us find exceptional engineers who can push the boundaries of autonomous design and engineering intelligence.

What You’ll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles across India.
• Build pipelines for mechanical, electrical, simulation, CAD/CAE, and hardware-adjacent talent.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements and hiring plans.
• Run sourcing strategies, outreach, screening, and candidate experience.
• Maintain a high talent bar while ensuring fairness, clarity, and strong communication.
• Represent General Agents authentically to candidates and the engineering community.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally with engineering-heavy roles.
• Comfortable evaluating candidates across mechanical, electrical, CAD/CAE, hardware, or adjacent domains.
• Strong sourcing skills and an eye for non-traditional or high-potential talent.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
• Experience in working with fast paced startups is a plus
