Job Description

We are looking for a Project manager who will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and ensuring projects are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. In this role you will establish, plan, and manage information technology projects and shepherd our team s progress in accordance with business and technical requirements. You will learn functions and architecture of systems to actively contribute to the design of efficient solutions. The ideal candidate must be creative and adaptable as many projects will require adjustments and quick problem solving within the confines of the companys goals and vision. Job Responsibilities Understand key customers stakeholders objectives and key metrics Determine and define project scope and objectives Ensure business requirements are delivered on time by the different business and technical areas Manage the team pipeline and prioritization processes Assist with vendor management, license management, and fostering partnerships Efficiently and effectively predict and manage resources needed to reach objectives Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, progress, adjustments Adhere to industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution Align the team on project objectives and purpose Measure project performance and learn from project successes and failures to identify areas for team improvement Documentation of team workflows and project milestones Job Requirements Demonstrated experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies of software project management Microsoft Project or equivalent Project management tools Microsoft Productivity Software (Office Suite, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.) Experience working in a project management office structure Leadership skills in interacting with business and IT individuals across job levels, cross-functional teams, on-shore/off-shore development/QA teams/Vendors in a matrix organization Strong interpersonal skills like mentoring, collaborating, and motivating a dynamic, solution-oriented, and results-driven team Proven analytical, planning, and organizational skills through successful software development projects as defined by completed objectives and commitments Ability to analyze a project, team, and environment constraints to develop the most suitable PM/SDLC processes for the team s projects Excellent collaboration skills through various verbal and written means Meticulous monitoring, reporting, and transmitting project risks and issues, team progress, and financial health to formulate mitigation strategies as needed Represent the team to customers to foster relationships, strategies, and solutions of high business value Diplomatic ability to manage team and stakeholder expectations Rapid proficiency in learning new business processes 5-7 years experience in driving technology implementations Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience in full stack development and administration Preferences ITIL certification Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with 2-5 years experience in the role 2-5 years experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence products
