Job Description

Job Summary:

Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define program goals, program success metrics, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead large-scale, enterprise-level Agile programs involving multiple Scrum teams.

Technical Execution

  • Collaborate with engineering leads to assess dependencies, and scalability.
  • Manage program planning and release schedules.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between engineering, product, business and Cross-BU stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across teams and leadership.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove impediments to maintain program velocity.

Process & Governance

  • Monitor progress using dashboards, OKRs, and regular status reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.

Risk & Change Management

  • Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure traceability of decisions.
  • Escalate issues appropriately to maintain delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program or project management.
  • Proven experience managing Agile programs

Certifications (Preferred - One or more)

  • PMP/ CSM/PSM/SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)/PMI-ACP.

Skills

  • Good understanding of Agile Program Management
  • Ability to understand technical architectures and system/data dependencies
  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Aha, etc
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead without authority and influence cross-functional teams.
