This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4 years Location: Ahmedabad JobType: full-time We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Manager with a strong background in Civil Engineering and Property Valuation . The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of valuation practices, construction methodologies, and civil engineering principles to support property assessments, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence for real estate projects. You will play a pivotal role in bridging engineering expertise with real estate valuation, ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and reliability of property-related technical data used for financial, investment, and regulatory decision-making. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage technical due diligence and property valuation assignments across residential, commercial, and industrial assets. Conduct comprehensive site inspections to assess the physical condition of buildings, structural integrity, and compliance with regulations. Review architectural and engineering drawings, bills of quantities, cost estimates, and construction timelines. Prepare detailed technical and valuation reports highlighting asset quality, risks, and long-term sustainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations to support investment decisions and property acquisition strategies. Ensure all valuation activities are aligned with relevant industry standards, government regulations, and internal policies. Monitor ongoing construction projects to evaluate progress, quality control, and cost variations. Maintain and update technical data, cost indices, and benchmarks for valuation accuracy and consistency. Liaise with clients, developers, and external consultants to gather property data and resolve queries. Provide strategic inputs in refining valuation models, cost estimation processes, and risk assessment methodologies. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is a must; Master's degree preferred. 4-7 years of experience in property valuation, technical due diligence, or construction project management. Sound knowledge of property valuation methodologies, construction costing, and civil engineering practices. Proficiency in using valuation tools, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management software. Familiarity with RERA norms, local building codes, and zoning regulations. Excellent report writing, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Certification in property valuation or membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, IOV) is an added advantage Show more Show less
