Location: Guindy, Chennai Job Type: Full time Experience Level: 6+ years About the Role: We are looking for a Front-End Technical Lead to spearhead the development of innovative logistics and supply chain management solutions. In this role, you will lead a team of front-end engineers, driving the development of high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly applications tailored for the logistics industry. Your expertise in modern front-end technologies, UI/UX principles, and leadership will be crucial in delivering seamless digital experiences for logistics operators, fleet managers, and supply chain professionals. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Development Architect, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications for logistics software. Define and enforce best practices in front-end development, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code. Optimize web applications for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across various devices. Implement intuitive dashboards, real-time tracking interfaces, and data visualization tools to enhance logistics workflows. Lead the integration of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL with front-end applications. Team Management & Collaboration Mentor and guide a team of front-end developers, conducting code reviews and promoting technical growth. Work closely with UX/UI designers to create user-centric interfaces that improve efficiency for logistics professionals. Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end services. Drive Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Key Qualifications 6+ years of experience in front-end development, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Experience building real-time dashboards, tracking systems, and data visualisation tools for logistics or supply chain applications. Expertise in state management solutions (Redux, MobX, Vuex, or Zustand). Proficiency in CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and CSS-in-JS frameworks. Strong knowledge of WebSockets, MQTT, and real-time communication technologies. Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and performance optimization. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows. Nice to Have Experience with mapping APIs (Google Maps, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap) and geospatial data visualisation. Knowledge of progressive web apps (PWAs) and mobile-first design principles. Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes (fleet management, shipment tracking, route optimization).
