Technical Lead - Mobile (React Native)

Job Description: You'll join Xplor Personal Services and our Global Technology team the team that provides the support and expertise to specialty care businesses like dry-cleaners and laundry services. We build the platforms they need to support their customers and keep life moving. You’ll help us enhance our industry-leading platform used by our customer base to run their businesses. Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have: Contribute to the development and execution of a technology roadmap to support our departmental strategy and business objectives. Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership in defining technical strategy and in designing solutions to address current and future business requirements and infrastructure needs. Consult with development and project teams to provide technical solutions for complex issues. Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers on the team. Ensure technical design aligns with the vision and future state of existing systems. Contribute to the vision and direction for the future of our products and services. Review existing architectural roadmaps and propose solutions for existing technical debt and development bottlenecks. Take a proactive approach to drive innovation and creative solutions through cutting-edge technologies and implementation of best practice tools, processes and initiatives. Qualifications: Experience 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications. 7+ years of hands-on experience with React Native for mobile app development. Proven track record of leading development teams and managing projects from conception to deployment. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks, especially React Native. Deep understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns. Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX). Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services. Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus. Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, and IntelliJ. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices. Experience with React Native CLI for effective project management. Leadership and Management: Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively .
