Technical Lead (.NET) 6 - 8 years Mumbai Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a Technical Project Lead with a strong background in leading APIfication initiatives for large Financial Services (FS) enterprises. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in capital markets and banking systems and extensive experience in architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade APIs. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, stakeholder management, cross functional team management and the ability to drive digital transformation through modern API-driven architectures. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership APIfication Strategy Lead the APIfication journey for financial institutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance API architectures. Define API-first strategies, design principles, and governance frameworks for API development. Oversee the implementation of RESTful, and event-driven APIs with a focus on security, scalability, and high availability. Ensure seamless integration with market data providers, trading platforms, clearinghouses, regulatory systems, and banking APIs. Able to lead teams and collaborate with various stakeholders for requirements gathering and documentation and is capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions. Requirements Gathering Solution Design Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to gather and document API requirements. Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical API specifications. Define API governance models, versioning strategies, and documentation standards. Ensure alignment of API solutions with enterprise architecture and compliance mandates. Enterprise-Grade API Development Architect and develop microservices-based API ecosystems catering to banking and capital markets workflows (e.g., trade lifecycle, settlements, risk management, protocol integrations, payments, lending, and treasury functions). Implement API Gateway solutions (e.g., Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, Azure API Management) and define API security mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Mutual TLS, OpenID Connect). Optimize API performance, caching strategies, and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines to automate API deployments with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or DevOps. Required Skills Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Must Have Languages Frameworks: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework (EF), LINQ. API Microservices: REST API API Gateway Security: APISIX / KONG / APIGEE, OAuth / JWT. Databases: SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MySql, NoSQL (MongoDB / Redis is a plus). Good to Have Messaging Streaming: Kafka / RabbitMQ / NATS. DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, CI-CD. Testing Monitoring: Postman/JMeter, OpenTelemetry / ELK.
