Technical Lead - Backend (Python)

You are an experienced Tech Lead with 5+ years of experience, responsible for providing technical guidance and hands-on management for all product development within the company. Your role includes leading, managing, and mentoring a small team of engineers, defining standards and best practices for agile development processes, planning, tracking, and estimating product development activities, ensuring optimal application of technology and engineering resources, and growing the internal information technology development organization. You will also be managing and recruiting a multi-disciplinary high-performance technology team, implementing formal processes to support the product development process, and acting as a primary interface with the senior management and operations team. Your qualifications for this role include holding a B.E/B.Tech/Masters from any premier institute, having prior experience in a startup environment, possessing good communication and analytical skills, being able to work independently as well as in a team, and having a total industry experience of 5+ years building scalable and distributed software products and infrastructure. You should have at least 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Python, Go, microservices, NoSQL, and Internet technologies with a track record of solid technical accomplishments, as well as 5+ years of experience in managing software projects and people. Additionally, you should have prior experience in fast-paced/agile environments with high-quality execution, a solid track record of building technology teams/processes and infrastructure, demonstrated team building and leadership skills, and management experience in end-to-end delivery of large IT projects - from design, estimation, planning/tracking, and testing to production support. You should also be passionate about automated testing and have the ability to manage/drive testing including unit tests, system tests, and regression tests.
