Technical Head – Electrical (MEP Preferred)

DNR Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Technical Head – Electrical to lead and oversee all electrical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical design, execution, and commissioning, with a good understanding of MEP systems as an added advantage. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive innovation in electrical engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Electrical Design & Execution Lead the design, planning, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, IS Standards). Conduct power system studies, load calculations, and electrical distribution planning. Optimize electrical designs for energy efficiency and sustainability. Project Management & Technical Leadership Oversee multiple electrical projects from conceptualization to commissioning. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to align project objectives. Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance for all electrical works. Integration with MEP Systems (Preferred) Collaborate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire and other services. Provide technical input on MEP coordination, energy management, and automation solutions. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree or additional MEP knowledge is a plus). Experience: 10+ years in electrical engineering with significant leadership experience. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, switchgear, transformers, and industrial automation. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Familiarity with MEP Services is advantageous.
