Offshore Position: Technical Functional OTM Specialist Type: Contract (Freelance) Start Date: Late May to Early June 2025 Hours: Minimum 4-hour overlap with US Eastern Time Zone Timings: 3:00pm to 12:00am IST Seeking an experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Specialist to support two major initiatives: ➢ OTM Upgrade Project – Complete an in-place upgrade to OTM version 6.5.3 across three environments by year-end. ➢ Enhancements for Epes General Commodity – Develop and deploy functionality tailored to new business needs. This role combines technical and functional OTM expertise, including database/infrastructure support, solution development, and system optimization. Key Responsibilities • Lead and execute OTM upgrade efforts across dev, test, and production environments. • Design and implement enhancements in OTM aligned with business processes. • Perform comprehensive testing for upgrades, customizations, and new features. • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema for OTM performance. • Support database, middleware, and server infrastructure related to OTM. • Manage patching, versioning, and post-upgrade stability. • Troubleshoot and resolve OTM-related issues. • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams. Qualifications • 7+ years of OTM experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle upgrade projects. • Expertise with OTM 6.5.x or similar major versions. • Strong hands-on knowledge of OTM configuration, workflows, and integrations. • Experience with Oracle DB administration, tuning, and recovery tasks. • Understanding of OTM infrastructure components and middleware. • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance-optimized development. • Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments preferred. • Familiarity with OTM performance testing and capacity planning a plus Show more Show less
