Technical Director, Development & Grassroots program

• You will be responsible for improving, executing and monitoring the conceptual framework of setting up the Development and Grassroots program of the Football unit for Sports business unit. You will leverage capabilities of the functional constituents of the Roundglass Sports and engage with schools, local community centres, sporting institutions and related stakeholder groups to develop the foundation from which players of the future emerge. This role is an opportunity for a passionate sports professional to contribute to the technical development of young Football athletes and enable the penetration / adoption / popularity of
• the sport at the grassroots level and join a novel journey of wholistic wellbeing to develop self, society, community and nation!

What you ll do:

• Implement the Grassroots & Development program operations to broad-base the Football sport and increase its participation at the grassroots level
• Utilise partnerships with sports training academies / academic institutions / other external entities / stakeholders critical to the development and activation of the grassroots program.
• Create the infrastructure and capability development plan for the grassroots operations and collaborate with stakeholders to
• ensure the readiness and availability of required resources
• Execute the identification, acquisition and integration processes of Technical coaching staff, stakeholders, athletes and related
• resources for the program, and drive continuous development of technical capabilities in the partnering grassroots entities
• Implement standardized coaching methodologies, assessment tools, program analytics / database and development pathways
• for young athletes spanning diverse age groups in the program
• Program the execution of competitive and professional playing opportunities for Grassroots participants; plan and implement
• leagues, tournaments and events to further the program agenda
• Report success factors for the Grassroots & Development program and establish a review rhythm for its progress monitoring
• Drive and steer athletes and external stakeholders engagements and relationship management to build a positive and
• compelling image of Roundglass Development & Grassroots program of Football in the external environment
• Provide operational updates on a regular basis to RoundGlass Sports management team of key updates that directly impact the operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s education with proficient level Coaching certification in Football sport
• 15+ years of professional technical coaching experience in the domain of Football
• High degree of emotional intelligence to engage with multiple stakeholders and drive a collaborative culture that inspires
• passion for achieving results; able to proactively sense and resolve conflicts
• Superior communication skills to influence a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
• Leadership orientation and style to organize and scale-up in a multistakeholder environment and develop Talent
• An authentic passion to engage in long term value creation through a socio commercial business venture in the emerging space
