Senior Technical Curriculum Developer (IC5)

strong instructional design expertise

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop courseware across ILT, vILT, On-Demand modules, videos, and simulators
• Translate

  SecOps workflows

  into practical learning content, labs, guided investigations, and job aids
• Write clear, concise chapter narratives and real-world use-case examples
  
• Partner with SecOps SMEs to ensure technical accuracy
  
• Create assessments: knowledge checks, exams, performance tasks, certification-ready content
  
• Participate in pre-release planning and update content for new platform releases
  
• Ensure learning content aligns with legal, training, and quality standards
  
• Contribute to content QA, testing, and simulator validation
  
• Mentor junior curriculum developers; support multiple simultaneous projects
  
• Leverage Generative AI and ServiceNow-approved AI tools to enhance learning experiences
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  experience developing technical curriculum or training content

• 4+ years

  experience in customer-facing training / education development
• Hands-on experience with

  Security Operations workflows

  such as:
• Alert triage
• Escalation
• Incident containment, eradication, recovery
• Post-incident review
  
• Ability to transform SecOps concepts into structured learning assets
• Strong command of ID tools:

  Articulate 360, Captivate, Rise, SnagIt, Camtasia, ScreenFlow

• Advanced writing skills for technical narratives, labs, and assessments
• Strong project management skills; able to work in Agile environments
• Experience working with global teams across time zones
  

Good to Have

• Certifications in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or SecOps domain
• Experience integrating AI tools into content workflows
• Background in SaaS or enterprise software training
