Technical Business Analyst

Project Overview

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for trading system projects.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed

    Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

    and

    Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)

    .
  • Manage and monitor

    Agile/Scrum boards

    using tools like

    JIRA

    or

    Zoho Projects

    .
  • Work closely with software development teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Participate in

    SDLC

    ,

    Agile

    , and

    Waterfall

    -based project cycles.
  • Support data staging, configuration management, and database maintenance processes.
  • Liaise effectively with

    upstream and downstream teams

    to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Contribute to

    product management

    activities and help define project scopes, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and meet critical business deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

    in engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years

    of proven experience as a

    Business Analyst

    , preferably in the financial or trading systems domain.
  • Strong understanding of

    SDLC

    ,

    Agile

    ,

    Waterfall

    , and

    Design Thinking

  • Technical aptitude

    with basic knowledge of

    SQL

    and

    Python

    (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of front-end and back-end applications.
  • Understanding of basic wire frame creation.
  • Excellent

    communication and documentation skills

    to coordinate with technical and business teams.
  • Experience working with

    data staging

    ,

    configuration management

    , and

    database maintenance

  • Proficiency in preparing

    BRD/FRD

    documents and managing project tools like

    JIRA

    or

    Zoho Projects

  • Familiarity with

    financial markets

    will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a

    competitive, fast-paced environment
