As Technical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping us deliver efficient and reliable solutions, contributing to TORM’s success in the global shipping industry.

Your Role: Make an Impact

You will be part of the core of the Vessel Management team where you will be the critical connecting link between our vessels, offices, class societies and cross-functional stakeholders. You will support Vessel Managers in ensuring that every vessel operates with the highest standards of safety & compliance. The successful candidate will focus on delivering high quality technical operations for our vessels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining records, service reports, certificates, plans, manuals and drawings.
  • Coordinating Class & Statutory surveys, inspections and planned technical services.
  • Tracking vessel certifications, survey cycles and project-specific documentation.
  • Liaising with vessels as required and maintain ship specific data related to various projects within vessel management.
  • Preparing technical reports and supporting analytical tasks.
  • Facilitate smooth flag and ownership transfers during vessel takeovers.
  • Support various fleet initiatives across various surveys & compliance upgrades.

Your Profile

You have knowledge of the maritime industry, and a relevant work background of minimum two years in a similar role is essential. Furthermore, you should be a Graduate with fluency in English, both spoken and written as this is a global role and expected coverage across Asia, EU and US offices.
