Technical Accounting Advisory Role - CA

As an experienced Accountant, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Setting up accounting systems/COA and processes to ensure smooth operations - Reviewing accounting transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and IGAAP - Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IGAAP guidelines - Completion of tax audit forms such as FORM 3CD - Establishing controls over banking functions and reviewing monthly bank reconciliations - Ensuring timely closure of sub-ledgers and General Ledger as per specified timelines - Reviewing and finalizing monthly trial balance - Generating monthly management reports including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss account, Cash flow statement, and other MIS reports - Maintaining knowledge of statutory compliances and tax regulations (DT, IDT, CS, FEMA, etc.) and ensuring timely adherence - Coordinating with statutory auditors and internal audit team to facilitate audit completion - Handling a portfolio of clients, fostering client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities - Managing practice operations effectively and efficiently - Providing accounting advisory support for IFRS/US GAAP/Indian GAAP and GAAP conversion services - Leading projects related to IPO preparedness and financial information preparation for IPO transactions - Planning, budgeting, managing, and closing engagements successfully - Ensuring engagement economics, profitability, and efficiency - Driving overall profitability and revenue growth - Proposing ideas to improve firm profitability, enhance value creation, increase efficiency, and expand service offerings - Participating in recruitment activities - Sharing knowledge and insights at firm events and external forums - Contributing to articles, thought leadership, and speaking engagements Additionally, if any additional details about the company were provided in the job description, please share them here.
