Technical/Senior Technical Project Manager A technical project manager's responsibilities extend beyond overseeing software development and delivery. He/she will serve as a trusted partner to our customers, assisting them in developing their IT strategy, roadmap, business case, and benefit realisation. The Technical Project Manager should have 8 + years of experience in Agile, Scrum, Software development, Product, and Project management, as well as significant exposure to working with European customers and the US. He/she should be an excellent communicator and self-sufficient innovator. Job Title: Technical/Senior Technical Project Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Agile, Scrum, Project Management, Risk Management, and Product Development . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java, PHP, React Js, Angular Js, C#,.NET, and Oracle technologies and be capable of managing end-to-end software development projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive Agile processes, and ensure successful product delivery. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects within scope, budget, and timelines. Defined project objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Monitor project risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies. Track and report project progress using agile metrics and dashboards. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives). Act as a Scrum Master and mentor teams in agile best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Remove impediments that hinder team progress and efficiency. Work closely with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog. Work closely with product teams to define MVPs, roadmaps, and release plans . Align business objectives with technical execution, ensuring quality and scalability. Collaborate with engineering teams to drive innovation and technical excellence. Ensure alignment between user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Manage product development lifecycles , ensuring alignment with business objectives. Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers while implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to align business objectives. Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks effectively to leadership and key stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Overall experience of 12+ years, with 5+ years of experience in software development and 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role. Proficiency in the.NET, Oracle, and/or Java technology stack and experience with contemporary aspects like cloud computing, microservice architecture, and containerization. Strong understanding of software design principles, coding standards, and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Strong experience in Technical Project Management with a focus on software development . Experience with Agile methodologies, Risk Management, and project management tools Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with engineering metrics-based management and continuous improvement practices. Knowledge of legacy system modernization techniques and strategies Mandatory Skills: Technical Leadership, Code Reviews, Project Management, Risk Management, Product Development, Team Management, Problem Solving, Agile, Scrum, and Decision Making. Certifications (preferred but not mandatory) Scrum Master (CSM, PSM), PMP, or Agile certifications (SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) are highly desirable. Nice to Have: Experience with API-driven development, microservices, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Background in software engineering or product management. Understanding of customer-centric product development.
