Job Description

Join our team as the Technology Risk and Controls CORE Operate Change Management Lead.As a Tech Risk & Controls Lead within the Cybersecurity & Tech Controls team, you will manage a dedicated team within the Business Control Management Operational Risk Management Framework team, overseeing all CORE change management activities and "Run the Bank" CORE control activities to ensure efficient and accurate execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for executing BAU CORE Change Management control activities, ensuring processes are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Oversee the delivery of timely, accurate, and consistent BAU Change Management, including execution, monitoring, support, and reporting of change activities.
  • Ensure and maintain standards of quality and consistency within the team, ensuring work aligns with stakeholder expectations and standards.
  • Play a key role in developing and implementing operational models to support CORE Change Management, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptability to evolving business needs.
  • Expect to engage in hands-on work, actively participating in the day-to-day operations and processes. This requires a thorough understanding of how to perform the activities involved, including directly addressing data-related challenges, and ensuring the accuracy and relevance of governance materials. Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline interactions and processes, reducing queries and enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tools and metrics that enhance the effectiveness and transparency of CORE Change Management processes.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including BISO, TRC, and CM, serving as a primary escalation point to address challenges and drive effective solutions. Provide effective stakeholder management to prevent inaccurate reporting and or material creation and distribution.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and accountability within your team, providing ongoing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills.

  • Formal training or certification on Tech Risk & Control concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, fostering a high-performing and motivated environment, and driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, technology risk management, controls, within a large, complex organization, defining, recognizing, and cultivating “what good looks like” in risk and controls
  • Ability to build relationships and stakeholder management abilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational risk frameworks and BAU control activities
  • Experience in defining requirements for operational models, tools, and metrics to support change management, and partnering with development teams to ensure successful implementation and desired outcomes
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and building strong relationships
  • Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to issue resolution and preventive measures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) with hands-on experience using Alteryx

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in change management within a large, complex organization, defining, recognizing, and cultivating “what good looks like” in risk and controls
  • Proven experience leading initiatives and supporting broader team objectives, with a proactive approach to change management and issue resolution
  • Experience in defining requirements for operational models, tools, and metrics to support change management, and partnering with development teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to foster a high-performing, motivated team environment, driving continuous improvement and innovation
