Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead/Senior Tech Lead specializing in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing robust software solutions, and ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and excellence within the company. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Java developers. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Technical Expertise: Architect, design, and develop high-quality Java-based applications. Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Project Management: Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Track and report on project progress and address any issues that arise. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications. Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices are followed. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Communicate technical concepts and project status to non-technical stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and support to other teams as needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Masters degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development. Proven experience in a technical leadership or team lead role. Strong experience with Spring, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Skills: Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and related technologies. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Tools and Technologies: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Java or related technologies. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
