We’re looking for a Tech Lead with strong experience in the Python stack who can balance hands-on development with technical leadership and light project management.

Role Overview

As a Tech Lead, you’ll own the technical execution of projects — from architecture design and development to review and delivery.

You’ll lead a small, agile team of developers, ensuring code quality, scalability, and timely completion of projects.

This is a hands-on technical role with a delivery ownership component — ideal for a senior developer stepping into leadership.

Key Responsibilities

* Take ownership of project execution — from design to development, testing, and deployment.

* Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using Python.

* Review and optimise code written by team members to maintain quality standards.

* Define architecture and ensure best practices for performance, security, and scalability.

* Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to align technical delivery with business goals.

* Lead sprint planning, task allocation, and progress tracking for the dev team.

* Mentor junior developers — conducting reviews, feedback sessions, and knowledge sharing.

* Maintain proper documentation for APIs, workflows, and deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

* 3–5 years of total experience in backend development, with at least 1–2 years in team or project leadership.

* Strong expertise in:

    Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

    Frontend frameworks (React.js preferred) 

    Database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL)

    Cloud / DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines)

* Proven ability to lead small teams and manage project timelines.

* Certification in Agile/Scrum or PMP

* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives).

* Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

* Experience in AI/ML project integration.

* Prior exposure to startup or product-based environments.

* Hands-on experience in project coordination or client communication.

* Familiarity with project tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Trello).
