Tech lead- Java

Job Description

Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain Java based modules/applications. Perform software coding and unit testing of application/modules using coding standards and designs/patterns. Create software development artifacts as required such as functional requirements, business process, class diagrams and Javadoc etc. Perform software support tasks such as quality assurance testing, analysis of reported software issues using the JIRA/SugarCRM defect tracking tool, diagnosis of software problems and resolution of software defects. Maintain software accurately in the Subversion source code control system. Very strong in Object Oriented Programming concepts. Technical Leadership and mentoring internal team members. Coordinate with on-site team members and/or customers as required. Required Skills Experience in developing products/projects using Java/J2EE and Big Data (Hadoop Stacks). Experience in working with Java based MVC frameworks such as Spring/Struts. Experience in working with Java based ORM framework such as Hibernate/Toplink/ /JPA 2.0 Experience in Java/J2EE software development using IDE such as Eclipse or MyEclipse. Experience in creation and consuming Web Services using industry standard protocols such as REST. Good expertise in MapR, Pig, Hive, HBASE, Spark, Scala, Kafka etc. Excellent working knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery etc. Well versed with latest UI Technologies such as HTML5, SVG, CSS etc. Very strong in database programming (Oracle and SQL) Possesses extensive technical knowledge in database tools and technologies for design and implementation. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
